Nancy C. Doherty
Student Life Director

Nancy C. Doherty has been Student Life Director at the Governor Morehead School since January 2000.   She earned her Master's Degree from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina. Nancy has held government positions at the NC Dept. of Health and Human Services, the NC Dept. of Public Instruction and the NC Dept. of Community Colleges working in the human service fields since 1986. She was the founder of the Wake County Families Children and Adolescent Network, a non-profit organization that provides support for parents whose children are mentally or emotionally ill. She was a teacher in Pennsylvania before coming to North Carolina.
