2019-2020 Short-Term Sessions

We are excited to offer eight short-term sessions this year for students (K-12) with visual impairments from all across North Carolina. Students will receive tailored, intensive instruction in the Expanded Core Curriculum (Orientation and Mobility, Assistive Technology, Compensatory Skills, Independent Living Skills, Recreation & Leisure, Visual Efficiency, Career Education, Self-Determination, and Social Interaction Skills). These are skills critical for students with visual impairments due to their unique disability-specific needs. Each session is 5 days. Attached is the application form.
