GMS is honored and fortunate to have several organizations represented on campus.  We’ll highlight a couple from time-to-time:

Wake Young Women’s Leadership Academy (WYWLA) 

Currently has 250 students in grades 6-10.  Wake County has signed an extended lease with NC & GMS, the proceeds helping to offset GMS operational costs.  Capital improvements made to the campus have benefited both populations.  GMS and WYWLA have started collaborating on some activities, initially in the music departments.  We look forward to additional opportunities in the future. The Martha Franck Fragrance Garden 

Surrounds the gazebo, home to the old school bell.  The Franck Garden serves as an outdoor classroom for GMS as well as being the centerpiece for various activities.  The Garden Club of NC maintains it.  We are fortunate to have a nationally-recognized garden in our midst.  Their website can be accessed at:
